Budapest's oldest and most popular open -air ice-rink is located in Városliget (City Park) on the lake next to Vajdahunyad castle, right by historic Heros' Square. Operating from the 21st of November until the middle of February this facility is open Monday-Friday 9am-1pm and 4pm-8pm; Saturday 9am-1pm, 2pm-6pm and Sunday 10am-1pm and 4pm-8pm.
Entry prices are 700 HUF on weekdays and 1000 HUF on Friday evenings and at weekends.
Skates are available for hire, though International visitors require a passport or photo ID to do so.
