Italys Condé Nast Traveller announces its readers poll annually and Budapest has figured among the best thermal destinations for the past few years.

In 2005, Danubius Hotel Gellért was voted the Worlds Best Thermal and Wellness Center, while the hotel was ranked 7th among the best hotels in the world.

Gundel took 9th place in the rankings for best restaurant in the world. The Italians love affair with Hungarian spa resorts is evident in the fact that last year the number of Italian guest nights in thermal hotels grew by 11.7%.
